A Final Quote as Tribute

This last quote is dedicated to a friend who died young. He and I were randomly placed as college roommates our freshman year at the University of Denver. We became good pals and participated in many shenanigans together during our first college years. We enjoyed each other’s company but then grew apart. It hurts that we’ll never smile over a beer together to reminisce our “good ol’ days.”

Evan enjoyed his life and smiled much along the way. His smile displayed his goofy and welcoming personality. I hope to continue his smiling tradition by implementing this act more in my life. His story ended way too soon and I will treasure our memories together.

“We shall never know all the good that a simple smile can do.”

Mother Theresa

  1. Dan – I never did know Evan – I was surprised to see this since I did not hear you talk about this much
    – so sorry to see you lose a friend and so young and sounds like he created many memories …..

“The point of life is to create memories.” Craig Andrews

Thanks for the all the wonderful quotes – a great review of living life

    • Hey Milt, Thanks for the nice comment. Glad to hear you enjoyed the quotes and thanks for the condolences about Evan. Dying young feels tragic and I’ll do my best to smile more like he did. Thanks again for reading.
